Police pulled the vehicle over in Niagara Falls
A 56-year old Niagara Falls woman has been charged after caught driving, while under suspension, due to a previous impaired driving conviction.
Police are crediting its Automatic Licence Plate Recognition technology for catching the vehicle, late yesterday morning on Highway 420, at Drummond Road.
Upon investigation, police found Diane Pizzicarola is currently serving a 1-year suspension from a conviction last November.
Police say she's charged with:
- Operation While Prohibited Under the Criminal Code
- Failure To Comply With Undertaking
- Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance
She was released from custody, with a March court date.
