King Street to be temporarily closed between Seventh Street and Third Street
Tomorrow, Welland firefighters will say goodbye to one of their own.
A funeral is being held tomorrow for Captain Craig Bowman.
He died of cancer last week.
Before the service, a motorcade will travel down East Main Street to north on Prince Charles Drive.
It'll then head down First Avenue and Fitch Street before looping back south on Prince Charles Drive to Ontario Street and north on King Street to the arena.
The funeral will start at 1 PM at the arena.
Over 1,000 attendees are expected, including firefighters from Niagara, Buffalo and the GTA.
The City of Welland says other municipalities are sending a truck and staff to Welland tomorrow to respond to any calls.
King Street will be closed from Seventh Street to Third Street during the procession, but there will be access to the hospital.
