Significant snowfall possible tomorrow night into Monday
Environment Canada is tracking a major storm heading our way that could bring snowfall amounts between 25 and 40 cm by Monday night with by peak snowfall rates of 2 to 5 cm per hour possible Monday morning into Monday afternoon.
But the weather office clarifies "there remains uncertainty in the exact track of the system which will affect where the area of heaviest snow sets up. Snowfall amounts are expected to decrease sharply along the western edge of the storm system."
Meteorologists add local blowing snow is also possible Monday afternoon and evening with gusty northerly to northwesterly winds.

Meantime, Western New York is under a Winter Storm Warning with the National Weather Service forecasting the possibility of 12 inches or more of snow starting tomorrow night.
