Education Minister accuses union of trying to disrupt classes
The spectre of a full strike by Ontario education workers remains.
The union representing about 55,000 workers says a strike is very possible, if contract talks with the province aren't fruitful when they resume November 1st.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees says talks ended after virtually no progress was made over the past three days.
The union represents workers including educational assistants, custodians and early childhood educators.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce is accusing CUPE of ``trying to disrupt in-class learning'' by refusing to compromise on what he calls unreasonable wage demands.
