The SIU is investigating the death of a Niagara Falls man
Ontario's police watchdog is investigating the death of a 19-year-old in Niagara Falls Saturday night.
The Special Investigations Unit says Niagara Parks Police were searching for a man in distress around 7 p-m.
They found him in the area of River Road and Hiram Street.
He later jumped over a barrier and fell into the Niagara gorge.
The S-I-U investigates any time a police officer has been involved in a serious injury, death or sexual assault.
