Charges have been laid in relation to a violent robbery in Port Colborne.
It happened in the West Street and Clarence Street area at about 6:45 a.m. yesterday.
A 39-year-old man allegedly hit another man with a baseball bat, stole from him and then barricaded himself inside a home.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the 39-year-old was arrested at around 12:20 p.m.
He has been charged with one count of robbery and two counts of failing to comply with probation.
