Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff says that Niagara will be receiving COVID-19 vaccines next week.
In a post on his Twitter page, he says that he has spoken with Premier Doug Ford as well as the Ministry of Health, and Niagara will receive its first shipment of vaccines next week.
He also says there will be more doses every week after that.
Oosterhoff went on to say that there will be an emphasis on providing does to people who are considered high risk, including frontline healthcare workers.
