Police also find cache of stolen items
Officers were in the area of Main and Ferry in Niagara Falls New Year's Day just after 3:30 in the morning when they saw a woman known to have an outstanding arrest warrant entering a stopped car.
Police conducted a traffic stop and arrested 37 year old Amanda Heinbecker of Toronto
Officers also recognized a male passenger in the car who they determined was in breach of court ordered conditions.
A search of the man, his belongings, and the car turned up the following:
- 26.6g of suspected Crystal Methamphetamine
- Drug trafficking paraphernalia
- $890 CDN (suspected proceeds of crime)
- Unidentified pills
- Four cell phones
- A prohibited knife
- A concealed blade
- Pepper spray
- Beretta pistol
- Break and Enter Tools (bolt cutter and lock picks)
- Various pieces of suspected stolen property (see photos)
Police then arrested 43 year old Daniel Bruce Davyes of Niagara Falls charging him with a long list of offenses including possession of a prohibited weapon and trafficking.
The investigating officers are attempting to determine the origin of the property found on Davyes at the time of his arrest. Officers have reason to suspect it may be stolen
