Update: Police say they know the ID's of the people who died
Update: July 29th
Police say they will not be revealing the identities of the three people killed.
The NRPS was told yesterday by Ontario's forensic sciences of who died, but out of respect for next of kin, we will not be told.
Original Story:
Tragedy in Niagara on the Lake, after a single vehicle crash has taken the lives of three people.
Police were called this morning at around 3 to the Queenston Road and Concession 6 area, to find the vehicle left the road, hit a tree, and caught fire.
Police say despite efforts of emergency crews, the vehicle was quickly engulfed, and the occupants pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are working to find out who was in the vehicle, notify their next of kin, and sort out what exactly happened.
