Environment Canada issues special weather statement for Niagara
Niagara is about to get some windy weather.
The region is under a special weather statement, with Environment Canada calling for strong winds on Saturday.
According to the weather office, the region will see winds around 70 to 80 km/h for a few hours, before easing on Saturday evening.
Rain and mild temperatures are also expected during the day into the night.
Environment Canada says there could be local power outages and damage to tree branches.
