St. Catharines Crash Leads to Firearm Arrest

Police were called to the crash scene yesterday morning on Meredith Drive

Police say they were called in yesterday morning around 6:30 after a Honda Civic struck a parked Toyota Tundra.

The three occupants in the Civic were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A loaded firearm was found hidden by a nearby residence, not far from the crash scene.

While at the hospital, 20 year old Daniel Grant was arrested and charged with a variety of firearm offenses including possession of a restricted firearm without a license and having a firearm with a tampered serial number.

The two passengers were treated at hospital and released.
