The NRP were out on Tuesday, working in Community Safety Zones, issuing 50 speeding tickets and others
Police handing out speeding tickets and warnings to drivers, during the Back to School Awareness Day, but also arrests for drug possession.
The NRP set up in Community Safety Zones, going after those who need reminding, especially near schools.
They stopped 121 vehicles across the region, giving a speeding ticket to 50 drivers, and 33 tickets for other road infractions.
There were also 46 warnings given.
Police also focused on where kids walk, such as bus stops, with 11 provincial offence notices given, three of those under the Liquor Licence Act, and 10 criminal arrests for drug possession.
