It’s the second COVID-19 related death in Niagara.
Niagara Health is reporting another patient will the virus passed away at the St. Catharines Hospital late Sunday afternoon.
Condolences are going out to the patient’s family during this terrible loss.
Niagara Region is now up to 34 confirmed cases, including two deaths.
Six people have recovered.
There are now signs of the virus in every municipality in the Region.
Most of the cases are travel-related, but there have been cases of local transmission.
