Driver didn't remain, bus seen driving in Welland with 3 wheels
A 77-year old man from Fort Erie is facing charges after a collision between a school bus and pick up truck.
Police were called just before 8 yesterday morning to the Canal Bank Street and Ontario Road intersection in Welland.
Due to the damage to the pickup, emergency crews had to work to free the 47-year old woman trapped inside, who suffered what's believed to be non life threatening injuries.
Police learned a yellow school bus failed to remain, and heard of calls from the public that a bus was traveling on Prince Charles Drive on 3 wheels.
Police tracked it down near Prince Charles Drive and Thorold Road, finding four children on board.
No one was hurt.
The bus driver was charged with careless driving and failure to remain at the scene.
