Warning from Alectra
Alectra sending out a warning to Barrie residents, their employees are not going door to door asking people for money to inspect their home post-tornado.
The utility says "this is NOT Alectra, please be cautious and notify local law enforcement if you encounter these fraudsters."
The city is picking up the pieces after an EF-2 tornado left a trail of destruction through a residential area, five kilometres long and up to 100 metres wide.
71 homes were left uninhabitable.
