The Sabres lost their season opener to the Caps last night, but they won the hearts of Canadians.
Fans across the league noticing last night that teams played just one anthem because of the new COVID-19 related divisions, which created an all Canadian team bubble.
But the Sabres who always play both anthems regardless whether they are playing a Canadian team or not, kept the tradition alive last night and played both the Star Spangled Banner and O Canada.
The Sabres fell 6-2 last night to the Caps.
