Ontario could soon be under a stay at home order.
CTV News reports that Ontario's cabinet is discussing whether or not to issue a stay at home order after three of the province's top doctors urged him to do so.
It's not clear if a stay at home order would be issued for the whole province or go into effect regionally.
Premier Doug Ford refrained from issuing a stay at home order last week when he announced the shutdown, citing mental health concerns.
However, earlier today he warned that further restrictions are on the way.
This comes after the Medical Officers of Health for Toronto, Ottawa and Peel penned a letter to the province's Chief Medical Officer of Health, saying that a stay at home order is needed to curb the spread of COVID-19.
