Project Share in Niagara Falls is closed for the rest of the day, after being locked down.
In a post on their Twitter page, the charity noted the location was locked down, and they're working with Niagara Regional Police.
Project SHARE is currently in lockdown working with the Niagara Regional Police. To keep our community safe we are closed for the remainder of today. We are closed tomorrow for Canada Day. Food & other services resume on Fri Jul 2. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

The NRP tells us that a report of a possible armed person was received around 11:10 AM this morning at Project Share near Stanley Avenue and Thoroldstone Road in the Falls.
An anonymous tip suggested the individual was planning to attend Project Share while armed.
Officers attended the location, but the person was not immediately located.
Around 2:30 p.m., police re-attended Project Share after receiving a report that the person showed up, but the person left before police arrived, no weapon was spotted and there were no allegations of a criminal offence at the time.
Police continue to investigate the manner.
Meanwhile, the charity, which provides food and support services to Niagara Falls residents, will also be closed tomorrow for Canada Day, but will re-open on Friday.
