The town has installed a window film at the Meridian Centre, reducing heat loss in winter, protecting from heat in summer
Another step forward by the Town of Pelham in supporting energy consumption year round.
It's been recognized by Enbridge Gas through a grant of $10,000, for a window film application at the Meridian Centre.
The window film was put on over the summer, in the gyms, administration offices, meeting rooms, spin room and upper windows.
The town says the film reduces heat loss in the winter by 3%, and protects from heat in summer by 27%.
Mayor Marvin Junkin says it's encouraging to be supported by Enbridge, and to see environmental products used in Pelham.
