Ontario reported a drop yesterday in new COVID-19 cases
Health officials say there were 2,578 infections down from the average of 2,900 for most of the month
However, health officials also report a large drop in test numbers.
Ontario's Associate Medical officer of Health Dr. Barbara Yaffe says "The number of tests processed yesterday, 40,301, was at its lowest since Jan. 5, which may partially explain the lower numbers we’ve seen today."
