One person was arrested after a weekend RIDE check in Welland.
It was Saturday night, when police set up at a certain location, stopping roughly 200 vehicles, and asking drivers if any alcohol or drugs had been consumed that evening.
Police had 24 drivers give breath samples, which found the one driver registering fail.
Six others resulted in alert, and had their licenses suspended for three days.
Police also charged three others with not having insurance, and more than a dozen tickets given for other traffic offenses.
