OLG Makes Payment to Niagara Falls

This is a quarterly payment for hosting Fallsview Casino resort and Casino Niagara

Over $4.5-million will added to the finances of the City of Niagara Falls.

This is the 2nd quarter payment, covering July to the end of September, from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation for hosting Fallsview Casino resort and Casino Niagara.

So far, during the OLG's fiscal year from April to next March, Niagara Falls has received over $10.4-million.

Since the first casino opened in December of 1996, Niagara Falls has received almost $225-million.

The OLG adds the money is meant for re-investing in host communities.
