Seventeen drivers were charged between June 15th and June 29th.
NIAGARA - Seventeen people were recently busted for impaired driving in the Niagara Region.
They were charged by Niagara Regional Police (NRP) between June 15th and this past Sunday. The charges include impaired driving by alcohol or drugs, driving with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 mgs, or refusing to provide a breath/blood sample.
The drivers ages range from 19 to 70 and fourteen of them live in the Region. The three visitors included a 57-year-old from Brampton, a 33-year-old from Mississauga and a 19-year-old from Mount Forest.
Each driver also faces a 90-day licence suspension.
