Two people from Niagara Falls charged after gun investigation, arrested in Harriman Street house
Two people from Niagara Falls have been arrested in connection to a gun investigation.
Police began looking into this in the early months of this year, and yesterday they used a search warrant on a Harriman Street address.
Police found some suspected fentanyl, $350 in Canadian money, and replica guns and brass knuckles.
They've charged 40-year old James McGowan with:
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl)
- Possession of proceeds of crime under $5000
- Possession of a prohibited weapon (brass knuckles)
- Failing to comply with release order
- Failing to comply with probation order (2 counts)
- Failing to comply with weapons prohibition order
They add Megan Rousy, 39-years old, is facing similar charges.

- Failing to comply with release order
- Failing to comply with weapons prohibition order
Police have them in custody, pending a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
