Update: 2nd suspect arrested in relation to a woman being trafficked in the Niagara Region, a forced marriage charge included

Earlier today, police arrested a 2nd suspect, 29-year old Joshua Shirley of St. Catharines, who was picked up in the Queenston and Niagara Street area.
He has a bail hearing today, charged with trafficking, uttering threats, and forced marriage.

Police have rescued a woman in the Niagara region from human trafficking.
Last month, they started investigating this case, and identified a man involved.
Yesterday, police say they arrested 26-year old Anshul of London, charged with human trafficking, he has a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
Police believe there may be other victims, and ask anyone who feels they were trafficked by Anshul to call police.
It is also believed the suspect recently lived in Brampton.
A reminder from police that anyone, men, women and children, can be victims of this crime, which is forced sexual or labour purposes.
