The Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority has adopted it own whistleblower policy.
It should protect employees, if they decide to speak out against illegal or unethical behaviour in the workplace.
The policy has been in the works since April 2019.
Staff gathered input from NPCA employees, management and union reps while creating it.
The NPCA Board approved it yesterday.
Niagara Regional Council approved it's own whistleblower policy last week.
