Ontario's top doctor to recommend everyone wear masks due to respiratory illnesses
We are expecting a recommendation today from Ontario's top doctor that we all wear masks again.
However, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore is not expected to issue a mandate.
This comes as Ontario's children's hospitals are overwhelmed with respiratory illnesses, that came along earlier than usual this fall.
In fact, the surge of cases have led to some surgeries being cancelled.
The other big question is whether Premier Ford will issue a mandate. Yesterday, he urged masks as much as possible, but dodged questions about a mandate.
