It was Niagara Week at Queen's Park, with a needed wastewater treatment plant on the list of priorities
Better transit, more infrastructure funding and solutions to homelessness hammered out this week in Toronto between the Ontario government and Niagara Region.
The region tells us it was Niagara Week for three days, which focused on ways to deliver appropriate housing, and creative proposals for a much-needed wastewater treatment plant in South Niagara.
Two-way, all day GO train service also discussed.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff says they've made record investments in the region for new hospitals, and critical water infrastructure, to supportive housing and children's services.
The Region partnered with the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce to show the government why Niagara is the best place to invest, featuring local busiinesses and institutions.
The region adds the coming weeks and months will follow up on the conversations had.
