OPP say he was hit near Fruitland Road, by more than one vehicle, asking drivers involved to come forward
Provincial police say an elderly man was struck and killed as he was walking along Queen Elizabeth Way in Stoney Creek.
O-P-P say a pedestrian believed to be new to the area was hit by a car that remained at the scene, but may have subsequently been hit by other vehicles that did not stop.
Police believe one of the cars that did not remain was a Honda and that it sustained front end damage on the driver's side.
Police say the driver may not know what they hit and are urging them and any other motorists who were travelling on Queen Elizabeth Way approaching Fruitland Road at the time to come forward.
