Police say he was thrown from the pickup truck as it rolled into the ditch
A man is dead after a single vehicle crash early this morning in Wainfleet.
Police were called at around 1am to the scene on Regional Road 27, near Hewitt Road, to find a red Dodge Ram pickup truck had rolled and landed in the ditch, heavily damaged.
They add the driver had been thrown from the truck, and was found in critical condition.
Despite efforts by emergency crews, he was soon pronounced dead at the scene.
Police add he was the only person in the truck.
The road will remain closed between Hewitt and Tunacliffe Road.
