Police say homeowner woken after victim knocked on door for help in Niagara Falls, with non life-threatening injuries
Niagara Regional police looking into a weekend shooting in Niagara Falls.
They were called Saturday morning, at around 7:30, to Chippawa Parkway between Daly and Norton Streets.
There they found a home owner had been waken by someone knocking on the door, to find a 28-year old man complaining he'd been shot.
Emergency crews sent the victim to an out-of-region hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police believe this was a targeted shooting, and don't believe there's any threat to the public.
They're also asking for anyone who have video footage of the area to give them a call.
