Police were investigating illegal manufacturing of guns since September
A 30-year old Niagara Falls man is facing a range of criminal weapon charges, after an investigation into illegal manufacturing and trafficking of guns.
Niagara Regional police began looking into this in September, and as a result, using a search warrant, arrested Zachary Joseph Sawada, also known as "Bear", at his home in the Dixon Street and Orchard Avenue area of Niagara Falls yesterday.
Police seized numerous guns, rifles, bullets and other items.
Police add he was scheduled for a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
They're also asking if anyone has information regarding this case to give them a call.
