Police say he's been charged with impaired driving after hitting hydro pole, that knocked out service
A man in his early 30s has been charged after that Cogeco internet outage yesterday morning.
Hamilton police say they responded to calls of an impaired driver, and when confronted, the driver sped off.
Police did not chase the driver, but eventually he was found after they say the truck hit a power line pole in the city.
That impacted not only power for Hamilton, but also internet service for the area, and also Niagara.
