Niagara-on-the-Lake Lord Mayor Betty Disero is encouraging citizens to be thankful for the sacrifices made by servicemen and women.
In a statement, she acknowledged that this has been a tough year and the community has worked together, but in order to be truly appreciative, we must not forget the battles faced by our soldiers.
Disero went on to thank the families of those who have served and who continue to serve today.
