Local shelter says pet bunnies are not an ideal Easter gift
Easter is only a few days away, and the Lincoln County Humane Society is advising you to get chocolate or toy bunnies for your kids instead of real ones.
The organization says every Easter, shelters tend to get a large influx of rabbits that are abandoned, injured or sick.
The shelter also notes that rabbits are about a ten year commitment, and require a lot of care.
