A studio in Grimsby is being recognized on a national level.
Broken Hearts from Strive Studio Music School won the Top Community Music Class award at the CBC Canadian Music Class Challenge.
The award comes with a prize of $1,000 in new musical instruments as well as a plaque.
The studio also received another plaque for "Shine" coming third in Junior Vocal (Grades 7-10).
Both bands were taught by Brent Wirth.
