Gilbert Gottfried was a popular stand up comedian, best known for his iconic voice and playing the parrot Iago on Aladdin.

Famous comedian Gilbert Gottfried has passed away at the age of 67.

His family confirmed the news on social media this afternoon.

Gottfried was a popular stand up comedian, best known for his iconic voice and playing parrot Iago on Aladdin. He also appeared in several tv shows, movies and commercials, best known for his appearances on Saturday Night Live, Beverly Hills Cop 2 and often appeared on the Howard Stern Show.
