Florida crushed Edmonton 5-1 in Game 6.
SUNRISE - The Florida Panthers have won their second consecutive Stanley Cup championship.
Sam Reinhart scored four goals and Sergei Bobrovsky made 28 saves to lead the Panthers to a 5-1 victory over the Edmonton Oilers in Game 6 last night. Sam Bennett of Holland Landing received the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
This is the second NHL title for the Panthers, after they beat the Oilers in Game 7 last year.
It has been 32 years since a Canadian team has won the NHL championship.
