Suspect took off with an undisclosed amount of cash
Police are asking for help identifying a suspect after a robbery in Thorold.
Around 10:16 p.m. on December 17th, 2022, officers were called to a robbery at the Subway location at 8 Clairmont Street.
Investigators say a man entered the store and gave an employee a note alleging he had a gun.
He then demanded cash from the register and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The staff member wasn't hurt and no gun was ever seen.
The suspect is described as follows:
- Male
- White
- 40-50 years
- 6’0" tall
- 180lbs
The suspect was last seen wearing:
- Black face mask
- Dark blue hooded sweatshirt
- Grey pants
