Fatal collision happened just after 4:00 yesterday afternoon.
Niagara police investigating a fatal crash that has claimed the life of a child.
Police were called to the scene of a collision at the corner of Greenlane and Barlett Road South in Lincoln.
The initial investigation found a 4 year old boy in critical condition.
The boy had been injured after the snow sled he was riding entered the road way and he was struck by a passing pickup truck.
The child was transported to a local hospital.
Despite the efforts of all the emergency and medical personnel on scene and at the hospital, the child died from his injuries.
