Cale Makar wins Conn Smythe Trophy
The Avalanche beat the Lightning 2-1 in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final behind a goal and an assist from Nathan MacKinnon.
Calgary native and Avalanche star Cale Makar won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoff MVP.
Makar also won the Norris Trophy as the NHL's top defenceman during the regular season.
The 23-year-old led the Avalanche with 29 points in 20 playoff games.
