Arrest in Niagara Falls Shooting Incident

21 year old facing charges

Police have arrested Alessandro Innocenzo Abbatiello of Niagara Falls after seven shots were fired at a home in the Sixth Avenue and Hamilton Street area Sunday morning.

No one was injured and police say the shooting was targeted.

The suspect is facing four weapons related charges.

Police say they expect to make additional arrests.

NRP noting "We have seen an increase in persons armed with guns in Niagara. Those using guns to commit crimes should expect be held criminally accountable."

Anyone with information about Sunday's shooting is asked to call detectives at 905-688-4111, ext. 1029408.
