For the second day in a row, Environment Canada is issuing a special weather statement, warning of the potential for thunderstorms.
Isolated thunderstorms with heavy downpours are expected this afternoon across much of Southern Ontario, including Niagara.
Local rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm in an hour or less, along with wind gusts up to 70 km/hr and small hail, is possible.
Drivers may notice low visibility and ponding of water in some areas.
The showers and thunderstorms are expected to end this evening.
