Officer on duty at the time of the crash
An Alberta RCMP officer has been killed in a car wreck.
Around 2:00 a.m. this morning, Constable Harvinder Dhami hit a concrete barrier while responding to a noise complaint.
The RCMP have not confirmed whether anyone else was hurt.
He is the ninth Canadian police officer to die in the line of duty in the last seven months.
