Passengers whose flights were cancelled because of COVID are eligible to get their money back
After months of back and forth, the federal government and Air Canada have reached a deal to help the airline through the economic crisis.
The deal will see Air Canada get access to close to $6 billion in loans and equity financing.
In exchange eligible passengers will begin getting refunds starting no later than April 30th.
The airline has also agreed to cap executive bonuses, restore service to regional airports and maintain current employee levels.
