Only one new case of the virus in Niagara and active cases are dropping.
Public Health says there are 40 active cases and seven outbreaks.
Five of them are community based and two are in local healthcare facilities.
The highest number of active cases is in Niagara-on-the-Lake, followed by Lincoln and Niagara Falls.
There are five municipalities in the Region with no active cases, including Fort Erie, Grimsby and Port Colborne.
