Search & Rescue Open House

CASARA Niagara will host an open house at Niagara District Airport Thursday, April 30th 6:30 to 8:30 pm allowing the public opportunity to see equipment used in search and rescue operations. Ramp tours of a Cessna 182 aircraft (weather permitting) will allow visitors to talk with pilots. Demonstrations of ground homing technology will allow visitors hands on opportunity to find an emergency beacon, and if successful win a prize. There will be a static display of drones used for aerial searching alongside the unit’s mobile command vehicle.
